Whales Without Borders Whale Heros

The American Cetacean Society / Los Angeles Chapter created the Whale Hero awards in 2003 to recognize individuals and organizations who have distinguished themselves in the area of marine conservation. Special consideration is given to those who help the American Cetacean Society accomplish its mission. Honoring Whale Heros have become a tradition at ACS's International Conferences.

In 2006, we honored two outstanding individuals who embody the spirit of this award and who have made tremendous contributions to ACS.
